Mass Book: The 2012 Mass calendar is now available for anyone who wishes a particular date. Masses are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Blood Drive: The next blood drive will be Jan. 16, 2:30-6 p.m. Young At Heart: A new senior citizens' group is forming. Meetings will be during the day and during the week for all those who don't like to drive at night. More information soon. Handbell Choir: Tamara Hill is beginning a handbell choir at St. Joseph's. Please contact her for additional details. New Parish Meeting Times: To bring more consistency to the church schedule, we have set new schedules for future church meetings. All these will be held in the office meeting room at 7 p.m. Individual meetings are subject to change. Capital Campaign: First Thursday of the month Missal Moments: "Missal Moments" is a series of short videos explaining the upcoming changes to the Mass, produced by the Diocese of Charlotte. They can be viewed online. Diocesan Support Appeal: Have you contributed to the DSA yet? Don't like writing checks? Keep forgetting? Donations may be made online. Conferences & Trips 2012 March for Life: There will be a bus trip to the 2012 March for Life in Washington, D.C., on Monday, Jan. 23. The bus will pick up passengers in Greensboro, Burlington, and Durham. The trip includes Mass at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Rally and March for Life, and a visit to Congressional Representatives. Cost is $70 per person. Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekends: The next Marriage Encounter Weekend will be February 3-5 in Charlotte. For more information, visit the website. Second Annual Charlotte Catholic Men's Conference: The Second Annual Conference, "Being A True Catholic Man," will be held 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18. Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Jugis, and there will be several speakers, includin Jesse Romero, Fr. James Farfaglia and Fr. Glenn Sudano.
