Yard Sale: The church will be holding a yard sale 11 a.m.-5 p.m. April 27 and 7 a.m.-noon April 28 in the church parking lot. Donated items can be placed in the kitchen after 4 p.m. on April 22 until the morning of April 27. We need lots of volunteers for donations, set up, the sale, and cleanup. If you can help, please contact Georgia or Carl McCollum, Ruth Scanlan, Manuela Torres or Blanca Castro.

Chairpersons Needed: The parish council needs volunteers to head up various ministries in Family Life, Liturgy, Communications and Stewardship. If you would like to learn more about these commissions and their responsibilities, please contact Father Philip.

26th Annual Senior Spring Fling: Catholic Social Services Elder Ministry will hold its 26th Annual Spring Fling Thursday, May 31, 9:15 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Cost is $15 per person. Mass Book: The 2012 Mass calendar is now available for anyone who wishes a particular date. Masses are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.

Young At Heart: A new senior citizens' group is forming. Meetings will be during the day and during the week for all those who don't like to drive at night. More information soon.

New Parish Meeting Times: To bring more consistency to the church schedule, we have set new schedules for future church meetings. All these will be held in the office meeting room at 7 p.m. Individual meetings are subject to change.

Capital Campaign: First Thursday of the month
Building Committee: First Wednesday of the month
Parish Council: Second Wednesday of the month
Finance Council: Last Wednesday of the month (quarterly)
Teacher Meeting: Third Thursday of the month

Missal Moments: "Missal Moments" is a series of short videos explaining the changes to the Mass, produced by the Diocese of Charlotte. They can be viewed online.

Diocesan Support Appeal: Have you contributed to the DSA yet? Don't like writing checks? Keep forgetting? Donations may be made online. Remember to list St. Joseph's as your parish!
